YOUR OWN RESTAURANT MAP
Every place you save becomes a pin on your personal food map. Eight venue types with their own markers: restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars, delis, dessert spots, street food and more. Tap the locate button and the map centres on where you are, so anything you saved nearby is right there.

Tick off the places you have visited, mark favourites, filter by what is open now, and switch between cities. The restaurant map works across 20+ international metros, so your Tokyo list is ready before you land.

Each venue carries the details you actually need: opening hours, photos, phone number, website, menu link and directions, all pulled in automatically when the place is found.

A RECIPE SAVER FOR VIDEOS
Share a cooking video from TikTok or Instagram and AI reads it for you, pulling out the full recipe: ingredients, step by step instructions, tags and a calorie estimate. It listens to what the creator says out loud, not just the caption, so recipes that were never written down still work.

The recipe saves to your Vault the moment the import finishes, and a notification tells you when it is done so you can keep scrolling in the meantime. Recipe websites and pasted text work too, so a link from anywhere can become a proper recipe.

"TOP 5" VIDEOS, HANDLED
Shared a roundup covering five venues at once? BiteVault detects it, extracts every venue, and lets you pick which ones to add to your map in one go.

COLLECTIONS YOU CAN PUBLISH
Group places or recipes into a Collection and publish it as one link. Anyone who opens it saves their own copy, and when you add or remove something they get told. Useful for a city guide, a coffee list, or planning a trip with someone.

ALLERGEN AWARENESS, PLEASE READ
BiteVault scans extracted recipes for common allergens and includes a four tier gluten confidence rating that deliberately errs on the side of caution. It was built by someone whose partner has coeliac disease.

Important: allergen detection is assistive, not medical advice. AI can be wrong, and video captions do not always tell the whole story. Always verify ingredients yourself before cooking or eating, especially if you have an allergy or intolerance.
