Boreas APP

Boreas is a mobile client for a Boreas container server that you run yourself. It is not a hosting service and it does not come with a backend — you point it at your own server, sign in with an account from that server, and manage what runs there.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Start, stop and restart containers from a swipe, a long-press menu, or the task page
• Open a running task straight in your browser through its proxy URL
• Stream logs live, filtered by level, without leaving the app
• Watch CPU, memory and network history at a glance
• Create and edit tasks: image, port, description and environment variables
• Group tasks into projects, sorted by what needs attention first
• Mark each task Ready, In progress or Blocked so the team knows where things stand
• Keep notes on a task with a proper rich-text editor
• Search across every task in your fleet
• Receive push notifications when a deploy lands or something breaks
• Issue and revoke API tokens for deploys from CI
• Manage registries and, if you are an administrator, the users on your server

BUILT FOR DEPLOYING FROM CI

One API token and one call is enough. The exact image your pipeline built is the one that runs, and the result shows up in Alerts on your phone.

PRIVACY

Boreas has no accounts of its own and no servers of its own. Everything it stores — your server address, your session token, your theme — stays on your device and disappears when you uninstall. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The only thing that leaves your device besides traffic to your own server is the push token, which goes through Firebase Cloud Messaging so your server can deliver alerts to you.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL

You need a Boreas server and an account on it. Accounts are created by whoever administers that server; there is no self-registration in the app. If you did not set the server up yourself, ask the person who did.
