CarWash Day: Wash Weather APP

Washing the car is easy to get wrong twice: once by picking an hour that fights you, and once by finishing just in time for the rain. CarWash Day answers both, on one screen.

Is now a good time?

Not just the next hour — the whole wash. CarWash Day looks at rain, heat with the sun full on the panels, wind, cold and daylight across the time the job actually takes, and says in plain words what is in the way and what to do about it. Warm and cloudless? It points you at the shade, or at a cooler hour later on.

Is it worth it?

The outlook starts when you finish, not when you start. You get the peak hourly chance of rain and the forecast rainfall as two separate numbers, because they mean different things — and when the forecast cannot see far enough ahead, the app says so instead of assuming the best.

When the two answers disagree

The app says which way it falls. "Fine now, but rain is coming" is a real answer, and a more useful one than a score out of a hundred.

What you get

• A verdict, a wash window and the outlook after it, on one screen.
• Three days of advice, with the day worth choosing marked.
• A two-day timeline: where a wash fits, and where the rain lands.
• Washing at home or driving to a car wash — the weather that matters differs, and the app knows which you do.
• In a hurry? Ask for the soonest workable window instead of the best one.
• One optional heads-up, the evening before a day that looks good. Nothing else, ever.
• A last-checked note when you are offline, so you know how fresh the advice is.

Honest about what a forecast can tell you

A forecast is a guess, and dry weather is not the same as a clean car. CarWash Day cannot see your car: not how dirty it is, not what is on the paint, not where it is parked. It knows nothing about whether your local car wash is open, or whether washing at home is allowed where you live. And whatever it says about rain, bird droppings, tree sap and bugs are best rinsed off right away.

Quietly respectful

Made in Australia. No accounts, no tracking, no wash diary. Your location goes straight to the weather service to fetch the forecast and nowhere else — we run no servers, and nothing you do in the app reaches us. Free with a single unobtrusive banner; one small one-time purchase removes it forever and nothing else changes. No subscriptions, ever.
