This application is solely a client-side NFC reader for National Identity Cards (DNI) and a cryptographic utility that enables interaction from a mobile device with the public website of the certification authority (SOURCE):

This application does not issue, revoke, or maintain digital certificates, nor does it facilitate the acquisition of government documents or services. These functions are the sole responsibility of the FNMT certification authority.

DESCRIPTION:

This application functions on mobile devices as an NFC reader for National Identity Cards (DNI) and a cryptographic utility, compatible with the digital certificate for individuals issued by the public certification authority FNMT (National Mint and Stamp Factory).

IDENTITY VERIFICATION METHODS:

It is compatible with all identity verification methods recognized by the FNMT (Spanish Royal Mint):

- DIRECT METHOD
NFC reading of the DNI 3.0 and DNI 4.0 (electronic DNI issued from 2015 onwards). Requires a DNI with active certificates and password.

- VIDEO IDENTIFICATION METHOD
Valid for any DNI.

- STANDARD METHOD
Identity verification at accreditation offices established by the FNMT (Spanish Royal Mint). Valid for any DNI or NIE (Foreigner's Identity Number).


RECOGNITION OF THE FNMT DIGITAL CERTIFICATE:

The digital certificate provided by the FNMT Certification Authority is valid on all official electronic portals within Spain.

The FNMT digital certificate is recognized by the official electronic portals of Spanish public administrations, including:

- Tax Agency (AEAT)
- General Treasury of the Social Security (TGSS)
- State Public Employment Service (SEPE)
- Ministry of Justice
- Directorate General of Traffic (DGT)
- Cl@ve
- Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism

As well as autonomous communities, municipalities, and public universities.

REQUIREMENTS:

A. Direct Method
- National Identity Card (DNI) 3.0 or 4.0 (issued from 2015 onwards) with password and active integrated certificates. More information available at: https://www.dnielectronico.es
- Android device with NFC sensor.

B. Video Identification Method
- Valid National Identity Document (DNI).

C. Standard Method
- Valid National Identity Document (DNI) or Foreigner's Identity Number (NIE).
