Cinderpath: Idle RPG

The Cinderpath once linked the kingdoms. Every inn along it kept a hearth burning, where travelers warmed up and rested. One night the king pulled the fire of every hearth into his crown, and the road burned. Since then he has been called Hearthbane. You are an ember that survived under the ash, and you are walking to his throne.

Cinderpath is an idle RPG with auto battle: your hero fights on their own, and you spend the gold they earn to make them stronger. Close the app and your hero keeps going. When you come back, one screen shows the gold and gear you picked up while you were AFK. Turn on the offline stand-in and it buys upgrades for you too. The game plays offline and needs no account.

The road
• Seven regions lead from the Misty Fields to the Hollow Throne, through the Broken Mine, Ash Forest, Sunken Keep, Frozen March and Obsidian Spire. Each has its own monsters and its own story.
• A warden waits every 10 stages. The button shows your chance to win, and you decide when to challenge it. Losing costs you nothing.
• The Hollow Throne never ends. How deep you get is your record.

Gear and chests
• Enemies on the road drop Common and Uncommon gear. Wardens leave chests that hold Rare, Epic or Legendary items.
• You equip everything yourself. The game shows what each item would change and marks your strongest loadout. The choice stays yours.
• Find an item you already own and the duplicate counts toward a new star, up to 5 stars.
• Wear two or three pieces from the same region for a set bonus.

Rise from Ashes
• When the road stops you, step into the fire. This is the game's prestige: your stage, gold and upgrades burn away, and ash seeds stay behind in your ashes. Every seed makes you permanently stronger.
• Your gear and chests stay with you.
• As you rise, you can pick a new race (Human, Elf, Dragonborn, Dwarf) and class (Warrior, Archer, Mage, Raider). Each class has its own ability.
• Every rise gives you a skill point for the Skill Path. You can take your points back and spend them again at any time.

Without opening the game
• The home screen widget shows your stage, health and gold.
• Notifications are optional. Turn them on and a silent notification tracks your progress. Up to three times a day it also tells you when you find an Epic or Legendary item, when a stage is too tough, or when you are ready to rise from ashes.

Settings
• Reduce motion, or turn off screen shake and flashes. The motion setting also follows your phone's animation setting.
• Item rarity is written out, not shown by color alone.
