DICOM File Viewer - MesDICOM

MesDICOM is a DICOM viewer for Android phones and tablets. Open and view medical imaging files directly on your device, including DICOM files, folders, ZIP archives, and DICOM files shared from other apps.

MesDICOM does not provide medical advice or medical diagnoses and does not replace professional medical judgment or certified clinical software.

OPEN YOUR FILES

• Open DICOM files, folders, ZIP archives, and DICOM files without an extension
• Open files from your device, Files apps, browser downloads, or other sharing options
• View CT, MR, PET, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and other DICOM modalities
• Sample CT studies are included so you can explore the viewer
• Get information when a study cannot be opened and guidance on what to try

VIEW DICOM STUDIES

• Adjust window and level by dragging
• Use presets for CT, MR, PET, ultrasound, and other imaging workflows
• Zoom, pan, rotate, and flip images
• Move through image series and slices
• Play supported multi-frame images with cine
• View orientation markers and scale information when available in the DICOM data
• Compare studies using multi-view layouts
• View two studies side by side with linked scrolling
• Search DICOM tags and copy tag values

MPR AND 3D VIEWING

• View axial, coronal, and sagittal planes
• Linked crosshair navigation between MPR views
• Adjust window, level, and slice controls for each view
• 3D volume rendering for supported studies
• MIP, Bone, Soft Tissue, Lung, and Surface viewing presets
• Threshold-based visualization for supported volume data

MEASURE AND ANNOTATE

• Measure distances and angles
• Measurements use millimetres when pixel spacing is available and pixels when it is not
• View region-of-interest statistics including mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and area
• Add arrows, text, and freehand annotations
• Save measurements and annotations with the study
• Reopen studies with previously saved measurements and annotations

ORGANIZE YOUR STUDIES

• Organize studies into folders
• Search by study name, patient name, patient ID, modality, notes, or tags
• Group studies by patient information contained in the files
• Add notes and tags
• Bookmark important images
• Connect to a DICOMweb server that you configure

SHARE AND EXPORT

• Share the current image
• Export original DICOM files as a ZIP archive
• Create a one-page PDF summary containing the selected image and available study details
• Review export information before sharing
• Optional anonymization can replace patient names and study titles in PDFs and file names created by the app

PRIVACY

Your imported studies are processed and stored on your device. MesDICOM does not require an account, and your imported medical images are not uploaded to MesDICOM servers.

The app connects to a DICOMweb server only when you configure and use one.

You can optionally protect access to the app using your device security features, where supported.

MesDICOM is free to download. Some features and library capacity require MesDICOM Pro.
