Battery Cuties uses the Android AccessibilityService API to display your customized emoji battery icon on top of the system status bar.

Why this app needs it:
Android does not let an app change the system status bar directly. The AccessibilityService API is what lets Battery Cuties detect where the status bar is and what state it is in, so your chosen emoji battery is drawn in the right place and stays aligned on any device.

What the app uses it for:
• Detect and align system UI elements (such as the status bar)
• Display your customized battery icons and visual overlays correctly on screen
• Keep a consistent appearance across different Android devices

What the app does NOT do:
• It does not collect personal or sensitive user data
• It does not read your messages, passwords, or notifications
• It does not track your activity, and it does not share data with third parties

This permission is used only for the visual customization described above. It is optional: the app shows a full explanation and asks for your explicit consent before requesting it, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings › Accessibility.
