♿ ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

Emoji Battery uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect when your
screen turns on or off. This allows the floating emoji battery indicator
to appear, hide and refresh at the right moment without running constantly
in the background and draining your battery.

This permission is used ONLY to:
- Detect screen on and screen off events, so the emoji overlay can be
shown or hidden at the correct time
- Refresh the emoji indicator when your battery level or charging state
changes

We NEVER use this permission to:
- Read, collect, store or transmit any screen content
- Read your messages, passwords, notifications or personal information
- Record audio, capture keystrokes or take screenshots
- Change your device settings without your permission
- Interact with, control or automate other apps on your behalf
- Prevent you from disabling or uninstalling the app

No data of any kind is collected or sent off your device.

This permission is completely optional. Emoji Battery works without it.
Before we ask for it, the app clearly explains what it is used for, and
you can decline. You can turn it off at any time from Settings >
Accessibility > Emoji Battery, or from inside the app.

💡 HOW TO SET UP

1. Open the app and pick your favorite emoji style
2. Allow the display over other apps permission so the emoji can appear
on screen
3. Optionally allow the Accessibility permission for smoother, more
battery-friendly overlay behaviour (you can skip this)
4. Adjust the size and position to your liking
5. Done — enjoy your new emoji battery!

🔒 PRIVACY FIRST

Emoji Battery does not collect your personal data. No sign-up, no account,
no contacts access. Everything stays on your device and nothing is sent to
any server. The Accessibility permission is used only for the purpose
described above and never to read or share your screen content.

ℹ️ PLEASE NOTE

This app displays an emoji battery indicator as a floating overlay and
home screen widget. It does not replace or modify the system status bar
battery icon, as Android does not allow apps to change it.
