Fishing Log: Catch Tracker APP
Log a catch in under a minute, right after it comes over the gunwale. Pick the species from a searchable freshwater-and-saltwater list ("Other" covers anything regional it doesn't have), enter length and weight, note the lure you tied on, where you were, and the conditions you observed — tide, moon phase, water temperature, and a weather note. Add a photo and a line of notes and you're done. Every entry stays in your own catch log, not a shared database somewhere else.
WHAT'S IN THE LOG
• A species picker covering dozens of freshwater and saltwater fish, searchable, with a free-text fallback for anything it doesn't list.
• Full catch details: length, weight, bait or lure, spot, date and time, and a photo.
• Conditions you record yourself — tide (low, rising, high, falling) and moon phase are typed fields, not guesses. Moon phase can also be calculated offline from the date and time you pick — no internet, no account, nothing invented.
• A private Spots list — GPS pin optional, plus notes on access and best timing. Spots are never shared and never shown on a public map.
• A Tacklebox for your rods, reels, lures, and line. Link a lure to a catch and the app tracks which of your own baits is actually producing, instead of guessing from typed-in text.
• Personal bests, tracked per species for both length and weight — flagged the moment you log a new record.
• Stats that build over time: total catches, species caught, most-fished spot, and your most productive bait.
• Optional local reminders — a nudge a few hours after a trip to fill in bait and conditions while you still remember them, and a heads-up when a weekend matches the moon phase your best catches have come on. Opt-in, switch off anytime in Settings.
• Light, dark, and system themes.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Fishing Log doesn't ask where you fish so it can sell an aggregate heat map, and it doesn't put your spots on a leaderboard. Your catches, spots, gear, and photos stay on your device — no public feed, no forced location sharing, no account required. Start logging as a guest in seconds; nothing you record is ever shown to anyone else.
WHAT'S FREE
Log up to 25 catches, save unlimited spots and gear, and see all of your stats and personal bests at no cost — that covers a full season for most weekend anglers. Editing a catch you've already logged is never limited, even past the cap.
WHAT PRO ADDS
• Unlimited catches — the free plan caps at 25.
• AI Insights from your own catch history: your best time of day, the tide and moon phase your fish actually favor, and your most productive spot and bait. Drawn only from your own logged data — never a comparison to anyone else's catches, and your spot's GPS coordinates are never sent anywhere.
• Export your full catch log as a CSV file.
• An ad-free experience throughout the app.
Fishing Log Pro is available as a monthly or an annual subscription, both starting with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your account at the end of the trial unless you cancel first, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your device's account settings. Prices are shown on the purchase screen and vary by region.
Fishing Log ships in 10 languages, so your log, your stats, and your AI Insights read in the language you actually fish in.
