Most scorecard apps guess at handicaps. We calculate them:

Course Handicap = Index * (Slope / 113) + (CR − Par)

Then Playing Handicap with proper allowances — 95% for stroke play, or set
your own. Net results for every player on every hole. If your Saturday group
argues about strokes given, this ends the argument.
