Grannsamverkan

Grannsamverkan is an app to start Neighborhood Groups and communicate between neighbors. You get easily accessible knowledge about how to start and run Grannsamverkan. In the app, you get tips and advice on how you can reduce the risk of burglary and theft in your residential area. You will also receive important information from the police in your municipality concerning your residential area. Through the app, you can easily share information with your neighbors and coordinate joint activities for increased community and security in your area. For everyone's safety and security, identification takes place via Bank ID.

Neighborhood cooperation is a successful crime prevention method that for many years has played an important role in reducing burglaries and increasing security in Swedish residential areas. Thousands of neighbors around the country are working together to increase safety on their street or in their apartment building. By working together, neighbors have managed to reduce crime, increase security and create a sense of belonging and community. The app is developed by Samverkan Mot Brott (SAMBO), where the Theft Protection Association acts as the principal. The app makes it easy to collaborate with neighbors and local actors to prevent crime. The police use the Neighborhood Cooperation method as part of their crime prevention work and can publish information and content to users in the app.
