The longest downwinder in the world to be sailed in one day. Add this fact to the rough conditions of the North Sea, the beautiful elongated beaches in the Netherlands and you come to the tour of tours. Just as heroic and depending on the weather as the Elfstedentocht, but with sloshing waves and a strong south-westerly wind. Sail along with perhaps your best kite mates and hundreds of other kiters during the coolest trip you have ever done. To top it off and to give your adventure even more meaning, all participants bring 1000 euros in sponsorship money for the Heart Foundation. The fourth edition of Hoek tot Helder is coming up. How fat? The wind window of the 4th edition will open on September 6, 2021 and will run until November 7, 2021.
