HourSet: Full Body Gym Workout APP
There is no weekly plan to fall behind on. The app tracks what each muscle has had and how recently. It knows how hard you went, because you logged it. Open it, and today's session is already planned.
What you get
• A workout built to how much time you have. The app fills that time, warm-up and cool-down included.
• 211 exercises, filtered to your gym. Say what equipment you have. Switch off muscles you cannot train. Exclude an exercise.
• If everything is still recovering, it says so, and says when something frees up.
• A drawing of every movement so you have a quick reference for the exercise.
• Sets saved as you finish them. Kilos and pounds at the same time, so you never convert anything. Your last set is pre-filled, because it is usually the right answer.
How it plans
Reps stay blank. Stop each set a rep or two short of failure, then log what you did. That number sets the recovery clock. An easy set frees a muscle up in hours. A set taken to failure takes about 2 days.
A superset pairs two exercises that share no muscles. You alternate between them instead of resting. Same work, about a third less time.
The rules behind all of this come from published research on sets, rest and effort.
No card, no account
No card, no account, no sign-in. Browse today's plan and every drawn exercise freely; starting a workout takes a subscription. You see the price in your own currency before anything is charged.
Your training stays on your phone
No account. No sign-in. Your plan and your logged sets stay on your device. No ads, no tracking, no identifiers.
Only three things ever leave the phone.
One is the purchase check. It asks a subscription service for prices when you open the subscription screen. It checks again when a subscription is close to renewing.
Another is a crash report. It is sent only when the app hits an error. It carries no identifier, and no record of what you were doing.
The third is a daily set of anonymous usage counts, such as "a workout was finished" or "an exercise was swapped". They carry no identifier and nothing you lifted, and they switch off in Settings.
Your training is part of none of them. It never leaves your phone.
Built to be read in a gym
Large type and high contrast. Built with accessibility in mind. Rest can count you down out loud and name the next exercise.
What it is not
It is not a coach. It does not know your medical history. It will not count your reps or watch your form. If you are training around an injury, ask someone qualified first.
