MP3 to Guitar & Ukulele Chords APP
■ Great for
• Working out the chords of a recording you have as a file
• Practising along: strum with the chord chart or pick with the TAB
• Finding an easier way to play: a capo position, a friendlier key, simpler chords
• Saving the sheet to your phone or printing it
■ 1. Upload a file
• Choose an mp3, m4a or mp4 file, up to 10 minutes long.
• Pick guitar or ukulele and press Convert. The analysis finds the beats, the bars and the chords.
• The audio file is deleted from the server as soon as the analysis is finished.
■ 2. Chord chart
• Four bars per row, with the chord of each half bar.
• Fingering diagrams for every chord the song uses.
• Easy chords or original chords: play with simple shapes, or keep the 7ths and sus chords.
• Key, tempo, time signature and capo at a glance.
■ 3. TAB
• Tablature for six strings (guitar) or four (ukulele).
• Arpeggio or strum, with the strum directions marked.
■ 4. Play along
• A backing track made from the chart: strummed chords beside the chord chart, the TAB's own pattern beside the TAB.
• Listen to your file, the backing track, or both together, and check the chords against the song.
• The chord being played is highlighted. Slow the music down to 0.75x or 0.5x.
■ 5. Make it yours
• Capo: automatic, or any fret up to 7.
• Transpose up or down to suit your voice.
• A chord looks wrong? Tap it and choose another. Chords the analysis is unsure about are marked with a dot.
■ 6. Save the sheet
• Save the chord chart or the TAB as one long image (PNG), or as a PDF in A4 pages that is ready to print.
■ 7. History
• Songs you converted stay in a list, so you can open them again without uploading.
■ Good to know
• Chords are found automatically and are not always right. Fix them by tapping the chord.
• The analysis needs an internet connection.
• No sign-up or login. English and Korean.
