This mobile application that breaks the current pattern of forming new relationships. Instead of building connections online, we propose an app that allows people to meet face-to-face. Our goal is to address the growing problem of loneliness and social isolation caused by the pandemic. The app will display available users on a map within a radius of approximately 1 km, without revealing their exact location. If a user is in the same area, they can send an invitation for a 20-minute meeting to one of the users. Once accepted, both users will receive each other’s exact GPS location to meet. The introduction and conversation happen in person, and after the brief meeting, users can decide if they want to stay in touch. If both agree, they will have the option to continue the conversation through chat in the app.
