Operational Mandate: All Files Access Permission
To function as a comprehensive filtration system, OxideSieve requires the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access) permission.
Why this is a Core Requirement:
Traversing Deep-Level Paths: A significant volume of "Residual Residue" and "Ad Sediment" is stored in nested sub-directories and system-level folders that are invisible to standard media-only permissions. Without "All Files Access," the sieve cannot reach these restricted sectors, leaving the filtration incomplete.
Detection of Non-Media Impurities: Unlike standard managers that only see photos or music, OxideSieve is designed to manage APKs and orphaned directories. These are not classified as media files. This permission is the only mechanical pathway that allows the utility to identify these specific technical file types and provide a factual inventory to the user.
