The SCANcalc calculation app from SCANLAB helps laser processing professionals easily select scan systems for a wide variety of applications. At the touch of a button, this free app identifies the perfect scan head for a user's specific requirements. For example, the app can calculate a scan system's spot size and accuracy at a definable focal length. SCANcalc also lets you calculate the beam entrance diameter.

To assist your day-to-day laser processing work, SCANcalc also integrates helpful functions, formulas, and the SCANpedia glossary of photonics terminology and definitions – all usable offline.
