Sevamritam

Sevamritam is the seva (service) management app of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. It helps the university organise large volunteer events across its campuses, schools and departments, from planning the sevas to recording who turned up.

Sign in with the email address, mobile number, roll number or staff code on your university record. A one-time code is sent to you, so no password is needed; you can set one later if you prefer.

FOR STUDENTS
• See the sevas and slots you are assigned to, with the place, the time and directions on a map
• Show your attendance pass (a QR code) to the staff member at your slot
• Take photos at your seva, see the event's photos, and share one with the event's hashtags
• Get notified when you are assigned, when plans change and when announcements are made
• View your participation certificates

FOR STAFF
• See your duty slots and tap "I'm here" when you arrive
• Scan students' passes to mark attendance, or mark them by hand; marks taken without a connection are kept on the phone and sent once you are back online
• See your slot's roster: who is present and who is still missing

FOR SEVA COORDINATORS
• Place students and staff from your seva's pool onto its slots, finding them by campus, school, department, class, gender or roll number range
• See at a glance which slots are short and who is still free
• Raise requests, such as refreshments, a complaint or a change to your pool, for the overall coordinators
• Keep the event's photo galleries tidy: hide or remove a photo that does not belong

FOR OVERALL COORDINATORS AND ADMINISTRATORS
• Create events, sevas, places and time slots, with places pinned on a map
• Build each seva's pool of students and staff, and appoint seva coordinators
• Follow a live dashboard of supply and demand: which sevas are short, which have people to spare, and move them across in one step
• Track participation by campus, school, department, programme and class
• Send announcements, handle requests, import people from spreadsheets, export rosters and issue certificates
