Tested by leading companies that develop executive projects, architectural design studios and structural engineers, the App collects a complete template of over 8,500 steel profiles for the following products:

- IPE, IPN
- HE, HD, HL, HLZ, HP
- T
- UPN, UPE, U
- Angles with equal and unequal sides
- Hot finished and cold formed circular, square and rectangular hollow profiles
- Heavy metal sheets
- Sheet piles
- Cold formed thin profiles

The App includes the following features:
- Commercial availability of profiles: availability of profiles, supply times and minimum quantities
-Quick creation of bill of materials and export in csv and text format, for metric calculations and to make quotation and supply requests
- Search profiles and consult geometric data by categories: quick search and advanced search by filters;
- Calculation of mass and surface area per unit length
- Calculation of the "critical load" of the rods
- Calculation of the "design resistances" of the sections
- Calculation of "stresses and deformations" of isostatic and hyperstatic beams
- “Favorites” section where you can save up to 50 profiles
- “Compare” function to compare the characteristics of different profiles
- Check sheets through the thickness
- Verification of beams: calculation of stresses and deformations for single-span beams, checks of resistance at the Ultimate Limit State and of deformability at Serviceability Limit States. Applicable when the constraint scheme, the floor span, the type of load, the type and arrangement of the profile and the quality of steel vary.

Future implementations will include additional products and features.

- News section: latest news for training courses organized by the Foundation with direct provision of CFPs, updates on the evolution of the regulatory panorama, new releases of the App relating to additional products and development of new features.
- Members Section: all the Foundation's member entities: Associations, manufacturers, distributors and service centers, metal fabricators, manufacturers of machine tools, durability treatments and architecture and engineering companies.
- Further information section: technical contents regarding the certifications and reference regulations for each type of product, processes and protective treatments for the durability of steel works.

Fondazione Promozione Acciaio is the non-profit body established in 2005, which operates as a cultural body for the development of steel constructions and infrastructures in Italy.
