StepwiseMD APP

StepwiseMD brings together the reference material and study tools that medical students actually use — without the clutter, without the ads, and without the upsells every time you open the app.

The question bank is built around clinical vignettes that test applied reasoning, not just recall. Every question comes with a full explanation covering why the right answer is correct and why each wrong answer is wrong. You can review your history, see where you're weak, and go back to specific blocks when you need to. Timed mode, tutor mode — the setup is yours to configure before each session.

The drug reference is pulled from structured pharmacological databases. Look up any drug and you get the monograph — mechanism, indications, contraindications, dosing considerations, adverse effects, and interactions. The interaction checker lets you run combinations without needing to open a separate app or browser tab. It's the kind of reference you can actually use mid-study without breaking your flow.

Lectures are structured by subject and organized into a proper tree, so you can work through a system from start to finish rather than hunting for individual videos. Playback is clean — no autoplay rabbit holes, no recommended content pulling you off course.

Flashcards handle the memorization load. The deck covers high-yield concepts across systems, and you can study by topic or run through everything. Progress is tracked so you know what you've reviewed and how recently.

The library gives you access to curated written reference material organized by topic. When a lecture or question sends you to a concept you want to read about rather than watch, it's there.

Notes and highlights work the way you'd want them to — you can annotate content and write your own notes tied to specific topics. Everything you mark is saved to your account and accessible across sessions. Your highlights and notes don't disappear when you close the app.

Performance analytics give you a picture of where you actually stand: accuracy by subject, question volume over time, performance trends. It's not a dashboard built to make you feel good — it's meant to show you where to spend the next study session.

The app requires an account. There's no offline mode — content is served from a backend that requires authentication. That also means your data isn't sitting on your device unprotected; it's tied to your account and encrypted in transit. If you delete your account from the settings screen, your data is deleted.

There are no ads. There's no free tier with features locked behind a paywall inside the app. Access is managed at the account level. If your account has access, you have access to everything.

The app is built for medical students who want a single place to study from — not five different subscriptions, not a browser full of tabs, not a notes app held together with screenshots. Everything is in one place, it works, and it stays out of the way.
