Recording can continue while your screen is locked or the app is running in the background, allowing you to focus on your journey without keeping your phone screen on.

DISCOVER TRAILS

Explore outdoor trails through Trailma's trail discovery experience. Browse available trails, view routes on the map, and check useful information such as distance, elevation, difficulty, photos, and elevation profiles before starting your journey.

OFFLINE MAPS

Prepare for areas with limited or no mobile connectivity by downloading maps before you head out. Downloaded map data allows you to continue viewing your map and trail while offline.

COMMUNITY

Share your outdoor experiences with the Trailma community. Post activities and photos, follow other outdoor enthusiasts, and interact with posts through likes, comments, and saves.

EVENTS

Discover organised outdoor events such as hikes, treks, and trail races. View event information, routes, and available registration options directly in the app.

YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA

An account allows Trailma to securely associate your activities, profile information, and other app content with you.

PERMISSIONS

Location: Trailma uses location information to record your outdoor activities, display your position on the map, and provide location-based trail features. Background location access allows an activity recording to continue when the screen is locked or Trailma is running in the background.

Camera and Photos: Used when you choose to add photos to activities, posts, or your profile.

Notifications: Used to provide activity-related updates, recording status information, and notifications about activity on your account.
