TRYGG BÅT

SAFE BOAT gives you a safer boating life. With the help of smart technology and sensors, we look after you - and your boat.

TRYGG BÅT consists of a number of useful tools for you as a boat owner:

Notification to the Rescue Company if you or your passengers fall overboard.
Notification to you if your boat moves, for example in case of theft or worn mooring.
Notification to you in the event of water ingress into the boat.
Continuous overview of battery voltage, temperature and humidity in your boat.

In order to use all the functions in the TRYGG BÅT app, the purchase of the product TRYGG BÅT is required. See trygbat.no.

TRYGG BÅT has taken over from the Sjøliv app, and several of the functions can still be used:

Local information about the area you are in
Your exact position will be sent to Coast Radio or the Rescue Company if you are in an emergency or need assistance
Overview of guest ports and ports of departure throughout Norway
Get in touch easily with other boats near you (Sjøvenn)


The TRYGG BÅT app contains a separate emergency button, where you enter your exact position with a single keystroke and get in touch with the emergency services. Here you will also find all important emergency numbers you can call, and emergency channels you can call via VHF.

Use the filters in the map and decide what you want to see near you on the sea, for example ports of departure, guest ports or other boats.

SAFE BOAT SUBSCRIPTION (in the app)
To use TRYGG BÅT, you need an active subscription. You activate this in this app.

To cancel a subscription:
Send us an e-mail to tryggbat@securmark.no with your name, e-mail address and telephone number.

Please note that the TRYGG BÅT functions will not be available without an active subscription. When selling a boat that has TRYGG BÅT installed, the new owner must take out a new subscription. Contact us at tryggbat@securmark.no.
