Turkey Cities: Plate Quiz APP
The app is for people who want to memorize Turkey's provinces, read about local culture and test themselves. Students, new drivers, travelers and anyone curious about Turkish geography can browse and play in the same place.
Quiz
In the Knowledge Arena each round has 10 questions, 15 seconds per question and 3 lives. There are four topics.
Plate codes: from 01 to 81, which province belongs to which number. Useful for matching plates you see on the road or for school practice.
Famous food: remember which province is known for dishes such as Adana kebab, Antep baklava or Izmir boyoz.
Districts: which province a district belongs to. A way to learn Turkey's administrative map piece by piece.
Phone area codes: where numbers such as 0312, 0212 or 0232 go.
Correct answers build a streak, earn coins and raise your rank. A daily challenge opens a new round each day. Extra points are awarded for consecutive correct answers. Coins can be spent on extra time or a life. Progress is stored on the device.
Province guide
Reach all 81 provinces from the list or search. Type a name or a plate number. Each page includes a short summary, region, plate number, approximate population, area and altitude, plus geography, climate, history, economy, transport, education, culture, districts, places to visit, local food, health and sport.
Opening a province counts as a discovery. You can jump to other provinces in the same region or start a short quiz about that city. Content is organized across Turkey's seven geographic regions: Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia.
Weather
See current weather for your location or any province you pick. Temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind and pressure are shown. This section needs an internet connection.
Language and offline use
The interface works in Turkish and English. Province text can be read without internet. Quiz questions stay in the app; weather needs a connection.
How to use
From the home screen open the province list, check the weather or start a plate, food, district or area-code test in the Knowledge Arena. A short round takes a few minutes. One round a day is enough to finish the daily challenge.
The app is free and contains ads. It is not a tap-the-map game. It focuses on reading, search and multiple-choice quizzes.
