Virtual Closet: Outfit Plan

Your wardrobe, digitised.

Photograph a piece of clothing and it is cut out of its background and filed in your closet. Build outfits from what you actually own, arrange them the way you want them, and plan what to wear across the week.

THE CLOSET
Every piece you photograph is cut out and filed by kind, colour and season. Filter it, search it, and see everything you own at a glance, including the things at the back of the wardrobe you had forgotten about.

BUILD A LOOK
Swipe through your tops, bottoms and shoes until something clicks. Dresses sit in the same rack as your tops: pick one and the bottom rack steps aside, because a dress is already the bottom half. Add a coat or a bag as a layer.

ARRANGE IT
Drag each piece where you want it, pinch to resize and turn it, and mirror a shoe to make a pair. The arrangement is saved with the look, and it renders the same everywhere the look appears.

PLAN THE WEEK
Pin looks to the days ahead, so getting dressed is a decision you already made.

REDRAWN IN 3D
A flat photo can be redrawn so it looks worn, with volume and drape. Your flat cutout is always kept, so you can switch between the two as often as you like at no further cost.

WHAT IT COSTS
The app is free to use and your wardrobe is stored on your device. Two things run on a paid image service and cost us money each time: cutting a piece out of its background, and redrawing it in 3D. A free start covers a few of each. After that a plan covers a set number every month:

Starter - 60 pieces and 20 3D passes a month
Full - 200 pieces and 50 3D passes a month

One-off packs are there if you run out mid-month. Plans renew monthly and can be cancelled any time from Google Play. Unused pieces do not carry over.

PRIVACY
Your wardrobe stays on your device. An account is required only so the two metered features can be attributed to someone. Photos sent away to be cut out or redrawn are processed and not stored.
