자동차사고 과실비율 인정기준 APP
- This is the only official standard in Korea, developed based on court precedents, laws, and dispute resolution cases, to determine the degree of responsibility between the at-fault party and the victim in a traffic accident.
- The Fault Ratio Criteria are based on Appendix 15 of the Enforcement Regulations for Insurance Supervision (Appendix 3 of the Standard Automobile Insurance Terms and Conditions) supervised by the Financial Supervisory Service and published by the General Insurance Association of Korea.
- Approximately 80% of all accidents are accepted without disagreement due to unilateral fault (100:0), but approximately 20% are subject to mutual disputes, requiring an assessment of fault. In these cases, the Fault Ratio Criteria are used, contributing to prompt compensation processing, standardized fault ratio calculations, easier fault ratio prediction, and the stability of the automobile insurance system and fault ratio assessment standards.
