Ami - Translator & AI Friend

Ami is a real-time interpreter and translator app — and an AI friend who remembers you.
Sit face to face with someone who speaks another language and talk through one phone, hold a meeting where everyone uses their own language, or follow a lecture with live interpretation. Your conversations can be saved as meeting notes.

■ What you can do

• 1:1 interpretation — Put one phone between you and talk in two different languages. Ami translates what you say into the other person's language and reads it aloud. Use earphones if you like, or hands-free mode when your hands are busy.
• Group interpretation rooms — Everyone joins the room on their own phone and talks in their own language. When one person speaks, the others receive it in their language. Great for meetings, classes and gatherings with people from other countries.
• Simultaneous interpretation — Get live interpretation while listening to a lecture, a video or a meeting, without stopping the speaker.
• Dialect rooms — Listen to and practice regional dialects of Korean, American English and Japanese, and learn how people really talk.
• Voice and video calls — Turn on group voice calls and video meetings inside an interpretation room.
• Automatic meeting notes — Ami summarizes your conversation and keeps a record.
• Terminology dictionary — Check technical terms during interpretation and apply them to the translation.

• Basic features are free. Some features, such as larger room capacity, video meetings and file sharing, are part of paid plans.
• The microphone is used for interpretation and the camera for video meetings and photo chat. Permissions are requested only when you use those features.
• Machine translation can make mistakes. For contracts, medical or legal matters, please also use a professional interpreter.
