BackBeer keeps track of the beer you have, the beer you want and the beer you have finished.

Three lists, and the same three colors everywhere in the app. Swipe between them. Search looks through all three at once, so a beer you half remember is one search away.

A BEER IS NOT A BOTTLE
Every batch has its own size, year, price, best-before date and place: Fridge, Stash or Rest. Log what you take out and BackBeer keeps the count straight.

SCAN THE BOTTLE
Point the camera at a barcode. The name, brewery, style and strength are already there, from one shared catalog that everybody using the app adds to and corrects. Add a beer nobody had, or fix one that was wrong, and once nobody has to correct it after you, it counts as a Cap. Caps are your score on the Wall of Fame. You join it, or you stay off it.

TRADE IN PERSON
You show a code, the other person scans it, you both agree, and only then do the beers move. There is no directory of users and no way to message anyone.

YOUR COLLECTION STAYS YOURS
Nobody sees what you own, how much of it or what you paid, unless you share it. Share a group with an invite code or a public link when you want to. Export your whole collection whenever you like.

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Use BackBeer with no account, fully offline. Your collection lives on your phone, and scanning works either way. The shared catalog, trading and sharing need an account. With one, a copy of your collection is kept with us and syncs between your devices.

FREE, AND IT STAYS FREE
The lists, the places, scanning, the catalog, Caps and the Wall of Fame, trading, groups, sharing, offline use, sync, backup and export are free, and they will not be paid for later.

PRIVACY
No ads, no trackers and no analytics. Your data stays in the European Union. Delete your account in the app and it is gone straight away.
