Crochet Resume: Row Counter

Come back to your crochet project knowing where you stopped.

Crochet Resume is a crochet row counter and PDF companion for Android. Keep a pattern you already own, your completed-row count and a saved reading position together.

READ YOUR OWN PDF
Import a PDF, turn pages, zoom and pan, and place a reading marker. Reopen the project to return to its saved page and position. You can also count rows without attaching a PDF.

TRACK COMPLETED WORK
Tap the large plus and minus controls as you finish rows. Start at zero or enter a row you have already completed. Set, reset or undo count changes. An optional second manual counter keeps another count separate, such as repeats.

PICK UP EACH PROJECT AGAIN
Save a project note, switch between projects, rename them and archive finished work. Each project keeps its own counters and reading position. Choose light or dark theme and optionally keep the screen awake while you work.

PLAN YOUR NEXT ROW
Set a row goal and see your progress. Add a reminder before a chosen row, such as changing colour or starting a border. Configure a repeat length and starting row to see the next row within your repeat as your completed-row count changes. Your optional second manual counter stays independent.

TRACK YOUR PROJECT TIME
Start and pause a timer for each project. It pauses when you leave the project or put the app in the background, and saves the time accumulated on this device. All tools are included; there is no subscription.

KEEP A COPY OF YOUR WORK
Export your full library as a ZIP containing project information and original PDFs. Restore a valid backup as new project copies without replacing existing projects. Keep an exported copy outside your phone to help protect against device loss.

OFFLINE, WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
The Android app has no advertising or analytics. Projects and copied PDFs stay in its private storage. Import and export use Android's file picker; a cloud provider you choose handles its own connection and transfer.

BEFORE YOU START
Bring your own PDF patterns. The app does not include a pattern library or generate instructions. Counters and reading markers are manual; turning a page does not advance a count.

Android 9 or newer is required. PDFs can be up to 20 MiB and 100 pages each. Encrypted or damaged PDFs are not supported. PDF text is displayed as an image and does not reflow or read aloud inside the app; export the original PDF to use another reader.

Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes local projects. Keep a backup somewhere safe.
