Huntloc: Hunting & Dog Tracker

Huntloc brings your hunting team and dogs together on one live map. See shared locations, coordinate a group hunt and build a map of your hunting area.

Use your phone to share your own location. Tracking a dog requires a compatible Huntloc GPS tracker, sold separately.

• Follow a shared hunt
Start a hunt and share its code with other hunters. See participating hunters and connected dogs on the map. With a full app license, view movement direction, speed and tracks.

• Stay in touch
Send messages in the hunt chat, call fellow hunters and share event locations, such as animal tracks or sightings.

• Build your hunting map
Save feeding sites, stands and other important locations. Share hunting objects with other Huntloc users. Switch between Google map views, with additional map layers for Estonia and Latvia available with a license.

• Find your way and plan ahead
Set a destination, check its direction and distance in the compass view, and measure distances on the map. View the weather forecast for your location or a selected point, including sunrise and sunset times.

• Track and manage your dog tracker
View your dog's location, movement track and the tracker's battery status. Start or stop tracking and adjust the location update interval. On supported devices, call the tracker to listen to your dog or give voice commands.

• Connect with your regular team
With the team solution, join your team's permanent hunt without entering a new code and view team members in the app. Create teams and add members in the Huntloc web portal.

• Continue on a larger screen
Use the Huntloc web portal to review past hunts and draw hunting maps.

Trial and licenses
New users receive a 30-day free trial of the full app. Basic group hunting features remain available for free. Dog tracking and other advanced features require a valid app license after the trial. Permanent team hunts require the team solution.

Connectivity and location
Live tracking relies on GPS, mobile data and the required location permissions. During a hunt, background location access lets you share your movement when the app is not on screen. Dog tracking requires an active tracker data service and mobile network coverage. Available tracker functions depend on the device model. Calls and SMS may incur operator charges.
