IMPORTANT – HONESTLY EXPLAINED
Regular smartphone cameras cannot capture heat or true infrared images. This app is a photo filter: it converts the brightness of your photo into false colors (bright = "hot", dark = "cold"). It does not measure temperature and it is not a replacement for a real thermal camera or night vision device. For fun, creative photos and social media, it is exactly right.

TIP
Many smartphone cameras can see the light of a TV remote control. Press a button, hold the remote in front of the camera and take a photo – the glow of the infrared LED stands out even more with the filter. Whether this works depends on your phone's camera sensor.

The app is free and supported by ads. Exported images carry a small watermark that you can remove by watching a short video. With Infrared PRO (monthly, yearly or one-time purchase) all images are ad-free and watermark-free.
