Kneu Research

Kneu Research is a smartphone-based clinical research platform designed to support studies in Parkinson’s disease, REM Sleep Behaviour Disorder (RBD), dementia, and matched control groups. It enables participants to complete guided assessments from home, providing researchers with consistent, longitudinal data between in-person study visits.

The platform is part of the Kneu Health ecosystem and is used by participants enrolled through partner research sites.

What participants do
Participants complete short, app-guided assessments that capture motor, cognitive, and behavioural data using their smartphone. These tasks are designed for independent use at home and help researchers monitor changes over time in a real-world setting.

Using built-in smartphone sensors—such as motion tracking, touch input, and audio recording—the platform captures standardised measurements that would otherwise require clinic visits.

Access
Kneu Research is available by invitation only. Participants receive a unique ID and study site assignment from their research team during enrolment. The app cannot be accessed without these credentials.
