TRANSCRIPTS IN YOUR LANGUAGE
More than 43,000 lectures have a transcript, and many have several languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi, with a smaller number in Punjabi and Odia. These are NPTEL's own transcripts, not machine captions. Read while you watch, search for a term, or tap a line to jump straight to it.

COURSE NOTES AND HANDOUTS
434 NPTEL courses are written material rather than video. Their notes, handouts and PDFs — 16,411 in all — now open inside the app instead of sending you out to a browser.

WORKS WITHOUT A CONNECTION
The whole catalogue is built into the app, so browsing, search, your collections and your place in a lecture all work with no internet at all. Only playback and transcripts need a connection.
