OverPen turns your phone or tablet screen into a flexible annotation surface. Write over videos, documents, presentations, web pages, questions and other on-screen content without leaving what you are viewing.

DRAW OVER ANY SCREEN

Open the movable OverPen toolbar above another app and start annotating. Move the toolbar freely, rotate it or dock it to any edge of the screen for a comfortable setup in portrait or landscape mode.

CUSTOM PENS

Save and edit up to 5 custom pens with your preferred colors and thickness settings. Reorder your saved pens and keep frequently used styles within easy reach.

FLEXIBLE TOOLBAR

Keep essential tools close while viewing other content. The toolbar can move freely, attach to all four screen edges and adapt its panels to the available space. You can also change the tool order to match your workflow.

SCREENSHOT MODE

Screenshot Mode temporarily hides the toolbar and other OverPen controls while keeping your drawings visible. Choose a duration between 5 and 10 seconds, then take the screenshot using your device’s normal screenshot controls.

OverPen does not capture or save the image itself. Screenshot availability may depend on the app underneath and Android security restrictions.

PHONE, TABLET AND STYLUS SUPPORT

OverPen is designed for Android phones and tablets. Use touch input or a compatible active stylus, and enable or disable finger drawing whenever needed. Supported stylus buttons and eraser tips can provide faster access to drawing and erasing.

QUICK ACCESS

Start or stop OverPen from the application or the supported Quick Settings tile. While OverPen is active, its foreground service remains under your control through the application, Quick Settings and, when available, the foreground notification.

PERMISSION TO APPEAR OVER OTHER APPS

OverPen requires Android’s permission to appear over other apps so the drawing layer and movable toolbar can be displayed. You remain in control and can stop the overlay whenever you want.
