QR Secure Check scans QR codes and checks what is inside before anything opens. Fake QR codes stuck on posters, parking meters, menus and payment stands are a fast-growing scam. This app shows you where a code really leads, so you can decide before you tap.

HOW IT WORKS
• Scan with the camera or pick a screenshot from your gallery.
• The link is analysed on your phone first. Nothing is sent anywhere.
• You get a clear risk score from 0 to 100 and plain explanations of every warning sign.
• Need more certainty? Tap "Advanced check": the link's redirects are followed safely from our server, never from your phone, and compared with continuously updated global threat lists. You get 3 advanced checks per day.

WHAT IT DETECTS
• Look-alike names: paypa1.com, g00gle.com, or letters from another alphabet that look identical to English ones.
• Brand impersonation: a well-known company name placed in front of an unrelated site.
• The "@" trick and other ways of hiding the real destination.
• Known active phishing sites, from an offline list that updates itself with only the changes.
• Shortened links, raw IP addresses, unencrypted http, suspicious file downloads such as APK files, and unusual ports.
• Links that carry your login tokens, with an option to remove them before any online check.

MORE THAN LINKS
• Payment codes: shows the merchant name, amount and currency, and detects codes that were tampered with.
• Wi-Fi codes: warns about open or weakly encrypted networks.
• Phone codes: warns about service codes that can change your phone's settings.
