With the return app of the Austrian disposable deposit system, employees at a return point can easily record the seal numbers of the filled disposable deposit bags using a smartphone using a scan or manual entry. In addition, the current status information of all previously recorded seal numbers can be displayed. The system affiliation of empty bottles and cans can also be checked via product scan. After the product scan, the user receives feedback on the display as to whether it is a disposable container or not.
