Read games, foreign apps and manga in your own language, right where the text is. Tap the floating button over any app, and Screen Translator Pro shows each translation on top of the original. Text recognition and translation run on your phone with Google ML Kit, so once a language is downloaded it works offline.

• One tap translates the whole screen
Tap the floating button over a game, a foreign app or site, or a manga reader. No app switching, no screenshots. The button hides itself before each capture, so it never reads its own overlay.

• Translations in place
Each translation appears where the original text was. The text size fits automatically and the background can match the colors around it. Set text size (70–160%), background and opacity with a live preview.

• Area, last area or point
Drag out a rectangle to read just that part, or reuse the last area with one tap, ideal for a game's dialogue box. Or drag a crosshair onto one word or chat bubble.

• Your button, your way
Choose what a tap does, long-press for a menu over any app, and set the button's place, size and opacity.

• Manga mode
Vertical text is read right to left, balloons are kept together, and translations appear in speech bubbles.

• Panel view and play-through mode
Show translations in a movable panel instead of over the screen. Or choose "Keep using the app below" to keep playing while translations stay on screen (Android makes them slightly see-through).

• 59 languages with language detection
Translate into 59 languages. Detect language checks each block of text, so mixed-language screens work.

• Offline translation
Each language model is about 30 MB and downloads once (English is built in). Then no internet is needed.

• Word replacements
Keep character names, skill names and preferred terms the same every time.

• Smart reading
Wrapped sentences are joined while menu items stay separate, and ALL-CAPS game menus are fixed first. Text already in your language, the status bar and number-only clutter get no box.

• Copy, share and compare
Tap a box to see the original, copy, share or open it in Google Translate. Copy all or show the original with one button.

• Images and text too
Translate photos, screenshots and manga pages through Android's photo picker (no storage permission) or by sharing them. Type or paste text, or select text in any app and choose Translate.

• Notification, tile and themes
Translate from the silent notification, show or hide the button from a Quick Settings tile, and pick light, dark or five accent colors.

• Auto re-translate: watch the whole screen or your last area and translate again only when it changes. Check every 0.5–3 seconds.
• Read aloud: hear translations in your phone's voice, at your own speed, or automatically.

WHAT IT CAN READ
On screen it reads Latin script (English, Spanish, French, German and more), Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Devanagari (Hindi and others). Russian, Arabic, Thai and some others can't be read from the screen but can be translated into. Apps that block screen capture, such as many video and banking apps, appear black and can't be translated.

PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY
• Display over other apps: shows the button and translations.
• Screen capture: reads the screen after you agree in Android's dialog. On Android 15 and later, locking the screen stops capture and the next tap asks again.
• Notifications: the ongoing notification while the button is on.
Screenshots and recognized text never leave your phone. No account or sign-in. The app doesn't use AccessibilityService.
