Sacred Gold Analog Watch Face

Sacred Gold is an ornate analog dial. A jewelled cross in gold and ruby sits over a golden sunburst, framed by scrolled filigree rings on a black stone ground. Four gold medallions hold your complications, and a small cross marks every hour.

The gold, the stone and the jewels are artwork, drawn in fine detail and shown on your watch screen.

WHAT IS ON THE DIAL

- Analog hours and minutes
- Four complications, one in each medallion at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock
- No numerals, no date and no seconds hand, so the artwork stays whole

On the always-on screen the stone and the frames go dark, and the hour crosses, the jewels of the cross, the hands and the complication values stay lit, dimmed.

FOUR COMPLICATIONS

Press and hold the dial and tap Customize. Out of the box the four complications show:

- Top: the weather, from Samsung Weather on a Galaxy watch (sunrise and sunset on watches without it)
- Left: your step count
- Right: your latest heart rate
- Bottom: the watch battery

All four can be changed. Point any of them at another source, such as your next event, and it follows. Each medallion shows short text or a value under the provider's icon, a ranged value as its number, long text cut to fit, or an icon or small image on its own. Any of them can also be left empty.

The weather complication shows what your watch's weather app reports. If no temperature appears, open the weather app on the watch once and let it find your location. The face itself asks for no permissions.

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Colour theme: Gold and ruby, Silver and sapphire, or Bronze and emerald. The frames, the jewels and the veins in the stone all change together.
- Clock hands: Original, Slim sword or Cathedral, each drawn to match every theme.

Three themes and three hand styles make nine looks, and the four complications keep their sources whichever you pick.

The Customize labels are in English. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

SETTING IT UP

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Sacred Gold and tap it. Press and hold again and tap Customize to choose the theme, the hands and the four complications.
