WAME X: Show Deleted messages

Description last updated: August 11, 2026

WAME X – Show Deleted Messages

WAME X helps you keep a local copy of messages received through WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business notifications, so you can view notification content even when a message is later deleted from the chat.

Note: This feature is currently available only for WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business; support for additional apps will be added later.

If someone sends you a message and removes it before you can read it, WAME X can preserve the content that was already delivered through your device's notification system.

How WAME X Works

WAME X uses Android's notification access feature to capture incoming notification content from WhatsApp. When a supported message notification appears, WAME X saves the available notification information locally on your device.

If the original message is later deleted, you can open WAME X and check the saved notification content.

There is no need to log in to your WhatsApp account, and WAME X does not need access to your WhatsApp conversations.

Key Features

• View deleted message notifications
• Save incoming WhatsApp notification content
• Preserve messages that are later deleted
• Simple and easy-to-use interface
• Works locally on your device
• No WhatsApp account login required
• No cloud backup required
• Core message capture works without an internet connection
• Designed with privacy in mind

Privacy First

Your notification data stays on your device. WAME X is designed to process and save captured notification content locally rather than uploading your messages to a remote server.

WAME X does not read your WhatsApp account, access your WhatsApp database, or require your WhatsApp credentials.

Important Limitations

WAME X works through Android notifications, so its ability to save content depends on what your device and WhatsApp make available through notifications.

For WAME X to capture a message, the corresponding notification must be generated by WhatsApp and accessible to the app. Messages received before WAME X was installed or before notification access was enabled cannot be Showed.

If notifications are disabled, blocked, hidden, or restricted, WAME X may not be able to capture the message.

Media recovery can also depend on whether the media information or content is available through the notification and Android system at the time it is received.

For the best experience, keep WhatsApp notifications enabled and allow WAME X to run normally in the background. Some Android devices may apply battery or background restrictions that can affect notification processing.

Why Use WAME X?

Messages can disappear from a conversation, but the notification you already received may still contain useful information. WAME X provides a convenient way to keep a local record of supported notification content and check it later when needed.

Whether you accidentally missed a message, someone deleted a message before you could read it, or you simply want to keep a record of your notifications, WAME X makes it easier to access the information that was already delivered to your device.

WAME X is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC.

Install WAME X and keep your important notification messages available when you need them.

Please note that Wame X currently supports only WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. Support for other messaging apps will be added in future updates, and this description will be updated accordingly.

Thank you again for your support!
