Weather & Space doesn't just show you a little cloud icon: it paints the actual sky right outside your window.

The background is generated live from real-time measurements—daylight reflects your local time and season, clouds gather only when they actually do, rain falls with the exact recorded intensity, and the sea ripples to current wave heights. On the horizon sits your city’s skyline, complete with its landmarks.

FORECASTS

Current conditions, hour-by-hour coverage for the next 24 hours, and a 10-day outlook featuring "feels like" temperature, wind speed and gusts, humidity, barometric pressure, UV index, and sunrise/sunset times. Sea state and wave height for coastal areas. Air quality index (AQI) based on the European standard, tracking PM2.5, PM10, nitrogen dioxide, and ozone. Severe weather alerts on each location card, alongside nearby earthquake warnings detailing magnitude and distance. Powered by Open-Meteo, with data remaining readable offline.

MOUNT ETNA, LIVE

In eastern Sicily, the volcano defines the landscape, and the app treats it accordingly: the background plume reflects real-time activity. The dedicated monitoring tab displays the aviation color code, the latest INGV VONA bulletin translated side-by-side with the original text, a projected ash dispersion cone based on high-altitude winds, and Catania Airport operational status.
Tap the cone to dive straight in. The 3D crater view is mapped directly over measured topographical surveys of Etna and overlaid with real aerial orthophotos: orbit the mountain, unlock the camera, and explore the terrain down to the coast.

AVIATION
Official NOAA METAR and TAF reports for airports worldwide, translated into plain English and decoded raw text. Flight category (VFR/IFR), wind, visibility, altimeter (QNH), cloud layers, and wind-favored runways. Turn on Aviation Mode and your home screen becomes your airfield display.

MAPS & RADAR
Animated live precipitation radar and satellite cloud cover with an interactive timeline. Long-press any point on the map to sample instant weather, GPS coordinates, and elevation; save any location with a tap.

SKY & SPACE
A navigable solar system driven by NASA/JPL Horizons ephemerides: planets, moons, the ISS, asteroids, and comets at today's positions, paired with atmospheric and orbital data sheets. Zoom beyond our solar neighborhood to explore confirmed exoplanets and cataloged black holes. The immersive sky view lets you look up from your exact position: move your phone and constellations shift with you. Also includes eclipses, moon phases, space weather, and real-time Voyager probes with light-hour distance tracking.

ON YOUR PHONE
Seven home screen widgets with ten Material You geometric shapes—from four-leaf clovers to hexagons—tinted by your system wallpaper colors. Live wallpaper reacting to current weather, app shortcuts, and a native Wear OS companion app. Query the forecast via Google Assistant or Gemini, even with the screen locked. Seamless, private backups to a Google Drive folder accessible exclusively by this app.
