This application is a one-time password (OTP) generator for 2-factor authentication as a solution (SAFEOTP) introduced to strengthen the security of the management system within the National Research Foundation of Korea. Users who use the National Research Foundation's internal system must install this application on their smartphone and use it when accessing the system.

This application has the following features to enhance system security.

- One-time password for transaction signature in question/response format using public key cryptography
- Guaranteed 'integrity' of authentication by going through the steps of 'signature verification' and 'extraction comparison' rather than 'simple comparison' of the existing symmetric key method
- Excellent security with 'signature' method rather than the existing time/event synchronization method
