Coral Almanac

Coral Almanac is a pocket guide to marine life for anyone who loves the ocean, enjoys diving or simply wants to learn more about life beneath the water. It is suitable for school students, biology students, beginner divers and travelers preparing for a seaside trip.
The catalog features more than 30 marine creatures, ranging from reef fish and mollusks to whales and Arctic crustaceans. Explore a varied collection of underwater animals and discover details that make each creature unique.
Every creature card explains how to observe the animal, what equipment may be useful and which dangers to watch for. Use these details to learn more about responsible observation and the conditions surrounding different marine species.
Search creatures by name and filter the catalog by ocean, activity time and biological class. Group your results and save favorite search selections so you can quickly return to collections that interest you.
The home screen offers several ways to explore the catalog. Pick animals based on their characteristics, rate the creature you viewed most recently and quickly return to your recent cards.
Add your own note to any creature to record what you noticed or remember about it. Personal notes give you a simple way to keep observations alongside the information in the guide.
Put your knowledge and speed to the test with the sorting activity. Each challenge asks you to arrange five animals by body length, depth or lifespan as quickly as possible.
After every run, see your accuracy and completion time together with a breakdown of every round. Review the results to understand which comparisons you handled correctly and which ones were more difficult.
Statistics show how many creatures you have already opened, how many personal notes you have written and your best activity result. Follow your progress as you explore more of the marine life collection.
All progress is stored only on your device. Coral Almanac requires no registration, account or cloud services and works completely offline.
