EyeGuard APP

EyeGuard is a simple eye-break reminder built around the 20-20-20 habit: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

FLEXIBLE WORK AND REST CYCLES
Set the work interval anywhere from 1 to 120 minutes and the rest interval from 1 to 60 minutes. When a break is due, a full-screen reminder shows the countdown and three choices - start the break now, postpone it, or skip it. You decide how many postponements are allowed, how long each postponement lasts, and how strict a break should be: a normal break unlocks the skip button after the first minute, a full break cannot be skipped at all, and with no enforcement the break can be skipped at any time. After several cycles in a row you can add ten extra minutes to a break, or turn that on automatically for every fourth cycle. When a break ends, EyeGuard can either start the next work cycle straight away or wait until you are actually back.

REST ACTIVITIES AND NOTES
Create your own rest activities - coding, reading, design, gaming, exercise or anything else - each with an icon and a colour, and reorder, disable or delete them at any time. Pick an activity during a break to attribute that work cycle to it, and leave a short note about the break if you want to.

STATISTICS
See how long you worked today, how many breaks you took, your current streak of eye-care days and your average number of postponements. The statistics are available for today, this week, this month and this year, and you can see how your working time is split across your activities.

RELIABLE REMINDERS IN THE BACKGROUND
Phone manufacturers often stop background apps, and a scheduled break that never appears is usually caused by one of those settings. EyeGuard includes a background reliability guide that opens the relevant battery and auto-start screens on your device, with step-by-step instructions for Xiaomi, Huawei and Honor, OPPO and vivo, plus generic steps for other brands. On Android you can also keep a persistent status notification showing the current state and countdown.

OPTIONAL MULTI-DEVICE SYNC
Sync is optional and off by default. When you turn it on, devices that share the same device code keep a single timer: a break that starts on one device starts on all of them, and your settings stay aligned. You can see which devices are in your group, remove a device you no longer use, and trigger a manual reconciliation if the timers ever disagree. Sync is a paid feature; everything else works without it.

OPTIONAL WEBHOOK EXPORT
If you want your break records somewhere else, point EyeGuard at a webhook URL of your own. Each rest period is then posted as JSON with the activity name, work and rest times, the duration, whether the break was skipped or extended, and your note. This stays off until you configure it.

20 LANGUAGES
EyeGuard is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, Italian, Vietnamese, Korean, Persian, Polish and Thai, and it follows your system language by default.

EyeGuard is a productivity tool. It does not give medical advice and makes no health claims - it simply helps you remember to take regular breaks away from the screen.
