xADAS

xADAS transforms an Android phone securely mounted on the windshield into a device that helps measure the distance to the vehicle in front in the same lane. The app uses the rear camera and an AI model running directly on the phone to estimate the distance. xADAS can operate completely offline.

Key information includes GPS speed, estimated distance, and a safe distance reference based on speed. A dark mode reduces distracting light while driving. xADAS also automatically slows down processing or pauses the AI ​​if the device overheats.

Camera permission is used for device recognition. Precise location permission is used to obtain GPS speed, calculate safe distance reference, and support automatic mount leveling; the app does not save coordinates or travel history. xADAS requires no account and is ad-free.

When support is needed, users can proactively record and send a technical diagnostic session. The session contains no images, videos, audio, coordinates, or recognition results, and is never automatically sent.

xADAS is a display assistance tool. Distance and lane measurements are estimates and may be inaccurate or update slowly due to lighting, weather, obstacles, installation location, and device processing capabilities. The application does not control the vehicle and does not replace the driver's observation, judgment, or responsibility. Only install and operate when the vehicle is safely stopped.

Requires Android 11 or later, and an arm64 device with a rear camera. GPU performance and acceleration depend on the hardware; the application automatically checks and switches to CPU when needed.
