WHY PEOPLE MOVE TO SIPLX

Most text expanders stop at your phone. SIPLX has real native apps on Android
and Windows, with a single library behind both. Change a snippet on your phone
and it is already on your PC - pushed in real time, not on a timer.
Cloud sync is part of Pro.


THE PERMISSION QUESTION

Every text expander has to read the field you are typing in. The real
question is what else it can see - and most apps never say.

So here is ours. SIPLX gave up the permission that would let us watch you
type:

canRequestFilterKeyEvents = false

That line is the difference between "reads the box you are typing in" and
"sees every key you press, passwords included." We declared it off on purpose.
You can check it.

We also cannot tap, swipe or control your device - canPerformGestures = false.

Password fields are blocked five ways: the password flag, masked text, and
hints containing password, PIN, CVV, OTP or 2FA. Payment apps like PayPal,
Venmo and Cash App are shut out entirely.

Every permission is load-bearing: internet, network state, notifications,
foreground service, foreground service (special use), boot, battery,
wake lock. No location. No contacts. No camera. No mic. No storage.

No analytics SDK. No crash reporting SDK. No ads. Nothing that tracks you.


IT ONLY FIRES WHEN YOU SAY SO

Nothing expands the moment you finish typing. You hit space, and then it
expands. That beat is deliberate - a trigger you typed by accident never fires
on its own.

Prefer punctuation? Switch modes and . , ; : ! ? ) ] } > " ' work too.
Triggers ignore case and respect word boundaries - "addr" never fires inside
"myaddr". Wrong one? A single undo puts it back.


AI FORMAT - MESSY IN, CLEAN OUT

Paste something you typed in a hurry. SIPLX fixes the spacing, punctuation
and structure before you save it as a snippet.

Our server never logs your prompts or results - only metadata like size and
success. Only text is ever sent; images and files are not.

FOR LANGUAGES THAT DO NOT USE SPACES

Chinese, Japanese and Thai run their words together, which breaks how most
expanders work out what you are typing. SIPLX reads backwards from your
cursor instead, so suggestions still find you. Triggers can be written in
those languages too.

One caveat, said now rather than discovered later: punctuation mode is ASCII
only. Full-width marks do not trigger an expansion - use space.

The app is in 15 languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese,
Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Malay.

Team - One shared library the whole team pulls from. The owner buys the
seats; members join with an invite code and pay nothing.

And if you stop paying, nothing is deleted. Snippets past the free limit
are locked, not removed, and all of them come back the day you return.


ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

SIPLX uses Android's Accessibility Service for one purpose: to see the text
field you are typing in, so it can replace your trigger with your snippet. It
retrieves window content (canRetrieveWindowContent = true), does not filter
key events, and does not perform gestures.


ON WINDOWS

Snippets, AI Format and team libraries all work. Statistics is Android-only
for now. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows shows a "Windows
protected your PC" screen the first time - choose More info, then Run anyway.
