TRACE SP — Traceability and Autonomous Recording of Firefighter Exposure Conditions.

The firefighter's professional exposure log, kept on their phone.

Fire smoke, asbestos, chemicals, radiation, biological hazards, psychological trauma: a firefighter accumulates invisible exposures throughout their career. These exposures are not continuously recorded anywhere and are lost during transfers.

The firefighter, however, does not change. And it is they who, thirty years later, will have to say what they breathed.

REPORT WITH A SINGLE TAP

Upon returning from a call, there is no time to fill out a form. A tap on "I was exposed" records the moment. The details are completed later, in a few short pages—the Save button is located on each one.

Three contexts: intervention, training or exercise, and non-intervention (contact with a product in routine use: workshop, kitchen, equipment maintenance).

SIX TYPES OF EXPOSURE

Fire smoke: intensity, duration, what was burning, protective equipment worn, phases when intensity varied.

Asbestos: material, condition, handling, protective equipment, duration.

Chemical agents: product involved, routes of exposure, duration of contact.

Radiological: type of exposure, duration in the affected area, dose measured by dosimeter.

Biological risk: agent or situation, routes of exposure.

Psychological shock: reporting of a critical event, without a diagnosis.

Added to this are post-fire contamination—soot, soiled clothing, time before decontamination, actions taken—and the individual's experience.

THE STARTING RECORD IS READ, THEN ERASE

The scanner retains five key details: intervention number, date, municipality, equipment, reason. Then the image is destroyed—neither recorded, nor saved, nor attached to any email.

The service address is never extracted.

Each department formats its service report differently: scan one, correct any errors, and the application learns your style.

YOUR LOGBOOK, YOUR ENTIRE CAREER

A single logbook that follows you from one department to another. Search by municipality, type, or number. Filter by year, period, workload, or marker.

Each record includes its sequence number, its type, and two readings calculated from your entries: a workload indicator and a summary of cumulative factors.

You can revisit past events: reconstruct an old service call, report an approximate cost per year, and record your career path.

A STATEMENT TO SUBMIT, IF YOU WISH

Over a year, a period, or your entire career: breakdown by type of work, entry route, position held, risk factors, and cumulative duration.

It is generated as a four-page document to be presented to your primary care physician or occupational health service. This is entirely at your discretion.

YOUR DATA REMAINS ON YOUR HOME

Encrypted database on your phone. No account, no server, no audience measurement. Secured by code or biometrics. Nothing is transmitted to any department, management, or third party.

Automatic encrypted backup to your Drive space, restoration on a new phone, and a readable archive for forty years from now—PDF and spreadsheet—that can be opened without this application.

WHAT THE APPLICATION IS NOT

It does not send reminders or provide health advice: it records what you declare and provides it to you.

It does not measure anything. The durations are self-reported estimates, and the smoke intensity is a personal assessment. The official dose remains that measured by your dosimeter.

This tool does not provide a diagnosis and does not establish a link between symptoms and exposure.

The recorded data is personal and self-reported. It does not replace official documents issued by your fire and rescue service.
