Sonda GAME
stalk a herd of twenty round Puffs across a 5x5 lattice of lines -- the
old alquerque geometry, where every node joins its orthogonal
neighbours and thirteen of the twenty-five nodes carry diagonals too.
You pick a side. A built-in alpha-beta search 🔍 plays the other one.
The two sides do not play ▶️ the same game 🎮. While the herd still has Puffs
in reserve it places one per turn and cannot move what is already down.
Once all twenty are on the board the Puffs step along the lines. The
Fangs step or pounce -- jumping straight over an adjacent Puff into the
empty node beyond it, and removing it. The Fangs win at five captures.
The herd wins by caging all four Fangs, so that none of them has a
single legal move left.
What makes this more than a board demo is the coach. After every move
you play ▶️, the engine re-searches the position, compares your move
against the best one that was available, and when the gap is wide
enough it raises a card that names the mistake in concrete 🧱 board terms:
you opened a jump line that did not exist before, a capture was on the
table 📋 and you stepped away, you let the last caged Fang out. Mistakes
are graded Slip, Blunder or Catastrophe. The better move can be shown
to you on the board, and every callout is saved with the match, so you
can scrub the replay later with the notes 📝 still attached.
Everything runs on your device 📱.
