ProveTrip APP

ProveTrip is used by non-emergency medical transport companies to record what happened on every trip. This app is the part the driver carries.

YOUR DAY, WHEN YOU OPEN IT

Your runs are listed in order: who is being collected, where they are going, and when they are expected. Tap one to see the full detail, including the return leg where there is one.

You sign in with the email address your office registered. Use a password, or have a code emailed to you, so there is nothing to remember at a kerb.

WHAT YOU RECORD, AND WHY IT MATTERS

As you work, you mark that you have arrived, collected, and dropped off. Each of those records the time, and where you were if you have allowed it.

That record is the proof the trip happened as described. Brokers pay on evidence, and a trip with no times behind it is the one that gets refused or paid short months later, when nobody can remember the day well enough to argue. Marking the four points as they happen is what makes that argument winnable.

At drop-off, a signature is captured on the screen.

WHEN THINGS GO WRONG

When somebody is not there, you record a no-show and can photograph the address, which is what a broker will ask for.

When something happens on a run — a member unwell, a vehicle problem, a difficult situation at a door — you file an incident report with a note and a photograph. It reaches the office immediately rather than waiting for the end of a shift.

IT WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL

Everything you record is kept on the phone and sent when you are back in coverage. You never wait for bars before pressing a button, and nothing is lost when a van is out of range for an hour. The day's schedule is stored on the device too, so it opens and works in a dead spot.

WHY IT ASKS FOR PERMISSIONS

Location is taken at the moment you mark an arrival, collection, drop-off or no-show, and at no other time. The app does not follow you between stops and cannot: it holds no background location permission at all. If you decline, you can still do your job — the trip records that the location was missing rather than pretending otherwise.

The camera opens only when you tap to photograph a no-show or an incident. Nothing is read from your photo library, your contacts, your calendar, or your microphone.

Notifications, if you allow them, are used to tell you when your schedule changes.

FOR THE OFFICE

Everything a driver records appears in the ProveTrip web application, where dispatchers and billers work: the day's runs, the evidence behind each one, the claims that come out of them, and what the broker actually paid against what was contracted.

YOU NEED AN ACCOUNT

There is no sign-up here. Your employer creates your login, and it works only if their company uses ProveTrip. If you have not been given one, ask your office.
